How do you keep the spark alive with your sweetie when you’ve been together for what seems like forever?
Absolutely celebrate this holiday! What are some of your sweetest memories of each other? Where did you meet, first share that you loved each other, or where did your sweetie propose? Head to that special place and celebrate how many memories you’ve created since that time, and what a special moment that was with each other. Bring out pictures, mementos of that time when you first fell in love.

This is the sweetest holiday there is – albeit very “Hallmark” – and a perfect excuse to celebrate how much you love your sweetie. Pick a time that works for you both, put away your cellphones and just focus on each other. You don’t have to do anything extravagant, but you definitely have to do something that will make you more connected and appreciative of the long relationship that you’ve committed to.

How do we celebrate our first Valentine’s as a married couple?
Even though it probably seems as though you’ve been endlessly celebrating your love with engagement parties, bridal showers and the wedding for the last year or so, take this time to really focus back on the importance of why you are together. That often gets lost in the hustle of planning a wedding and now you have the perfect night devoted to how much you care about each other. Of course, the sexy shoes and undergarments that you’ve received as a newlywed definitely help to add an extra spark for the evening, so enjoy it!

UGH, so much pressure! What does a single girl do on this dreaded holiday?
Either spend the night being really selfish watching some trash TV (think “Real Housewives of OC!”) and having a bubble bath, or head out with your girlfriends for a great night out celebrating each other. Remember, it’s just ONE day! You’ll have plenty more years to spend it with someone that you care about once you find them!
